About Ethic Woodworks
Hello, My name is Erik and I have been working with wood for over half my life. Most of my building career was in Lake Tahoe, though I have done unique custom projects in several areas of California.
All of my experiences have been instrumental in making me the woodworker I am today. As well as keeping me on the path of gaining the knowledge necessary to become a better woodworker for tomorrow. I carry a tremendous sense of pride in all my work. I push myself to be very creative, while I treat my work as art, and make quality a goal at all times.
I am a craftsman who loves the traditional techniques, but strives to integrate new efficiencies as I learn everyday. I work with traditional hand tools and techniques, as well as modern methods. All work is done by myself, with absolute attention to detail. My goal is to create real quality craftsmanship on all levels, from design, to building, to finish products.
"Put a young man in a workshop, his hands will work for to the
benefit of his brain, and he will become a philosopher while
thinking himself only a craftsman" - Rousseau
